Reading Homework
Our main focus is to read every night. For extra practice, we may send home additional work if your child is struggling in an area.
Please listen to your child read the enclosed homework. Congratulate your child on a job well done. Initial the bottom of the homework each time your child reads a story. Encourage your child to read each story at least two times and each word list once.
Math Homework
There are some math concepts you can do everyday with your child. This includes (but not limited too):
1) counting 1-100
2) Adding and subtracting number 1-10
3) Starting at a random number and counting as high as they can (ex:42-60)
4) compare numbers: which one is smaller; which one is bigger
